Cuee
Originating from Chicago, Illinois, Cuee is a 25 year old hip-hop artist. Cuee has a solid education base with a master’s in Higher Education Administration, and a passionate drive for everything hip-hop. Cuee exhibits an energetic and fun, yet smooth and motivational edge to her style of music. Drawing major influence from hip-hop artists such as Jay Z. Kanye West and Chance The Rapper, one could see why her storytelling essence fuses with their harmonic flows.
Jo-L
Joel Anthony Barrett, aka, Jo-L started his music career at the age of 12, writing common poetry and raps in a composition notebook. Advancing in his career, and going by the name of Joe Boogie, he linked up with his brother and friend to form a label called Ampafire.
Through his music group, Boogie polished his skills as a writer and formed the character known as Joe Boogie. In high school, Boogie decided to change his name to be more authentic and display his personality. Joe Boogie became Jo-L. Expanding his musical craft, Jo_L began to explore interest in other genres that birthed his creative hip hop/pop style. drawing influence from the likes of Calvin Harris to Kanye West, Jo_L has a unique diversity to his lyrics and flow.
Now, at 22 years of age, Jo-L is preparing himself for his first project as an artist and establishing himself as a writer. His project, A.W.O.L. is set to drop fall of 2017. Now under Young Intelcts, Jo-L is preparing himself to reach new heights in his career.
